About the role

Trailmix is looking for a seasoned marketing expert with extensive experience in new game production, who thrives in collaborative environments. The Senior Marketing Manager will be a key part of our new games in development and will ensure that we have a strong marketing vision to reach millions of players. This person loves to think strategically while getting their hands dirty.

As a senior marketing manager, you will report directly to our Marketing Director and work closely with the stakeholders of each new game team. This role is both quantitative and qualitative, involving audience research, creative/concept validation, organic/brand exploration, and data-driven GTM strategy. This is a great opportunity to add significant marketing value from the early stages of game development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market / audience research and develop persona profiles for new games.
  • Collaborate with the new games teams to help them find a product-market fit.
  • Build a clear GTM plan for all development phases from concept testing to Soft and Global Launch.
  • Proactively communicate A/B testing results and provide actionable insights.
  • Establish a strong brand presence to focus on organic growth from Day 1, exploring out-of-box approaches such as IP, Brand Partnerships, community, etc.
  • Set marketing goals and track KPIs to support product milestones.
  • Be a product evangelist and prepare for successful game launches.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of successful mobile game launches.
  • A player-centric approach that ensures marketing activities resonate with the target audience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and positively influencing key stakeholders.
  • Capable of proactively initiating, developing, and delivering plans and projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Location - London or Berlin

This role can be based at either our London or Berlin studio

Trailmix London is currently operating under a hybrid work model - we have 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday & Friday) in person at our studios in London Kings Cross with the remaining 2 days available to work from home.

Trailmix Berlin is a brand new team on a smaller scale during its start up phase so we are focusing on a more studio (in person) approach while the team grows.
